Dumfries Care home steps up security after resident 'wanders'
A safety review is taking place at a Dalbeattie care home, managed by Community Integrated Care (CIC) after a resident with dementia walked out without staff noticing. The woman, believed to be in her seventies, wandered out of Munches Park Care Home on Saturday evening. A member of the public told the News they saw the elderly woman wandering on the Dalbeattie to Dumfries Road as they drove past.
