Abbeylands Care Home
Description of Abbeylands Care Home
Abbeylands is a purpose built home, providing nursing and social care in a selection of differing rooms and separate wings.
Many of our rooms are for single occupancy, although several are large enough for sharing companions. Some have en-suite facilities.
Abbeylands is situated in landscaped gardens in Whiteabbey Village, within easy reach of shops and other amenities, public transport and the M5 motorway. Specifically, the Abbey shopping centre is only half a mile away.
Abbeylands is tastefully decorated and features TV lounges and several quiet sitting rooms all overlooking the extensive private grounds. Separate dining rooms, where residents can join the company of others at meal times, are also an important feature of the home.
Our Chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce. Special diets are catered for and daily choices are available.
The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist, a qualified chiropodist and a range of complementary therapies can be arranged to suit individual requirements.
A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home and we have a highly skilled activities therapist and we offer extensive patio areas with uninterrupted views of Belfast Lough.
