Key features of Avon Court
Spacious, well-equipped and wheelchair accessible throughout, Avon Court has a range of communal areas. These include a lounge with adjoining conservatory on the ground floor, which overlooks the delightful garden. A further smaller lounge offers space for relaxing and quiet time. Additonal areas include a sensory room and a third lounge with a reminiscence area, where residents - particularly those with dementia - enjoy spending time.
Bedrooms
All bedrooms are attractively decorated and have ensuite facilities, 24-hour call system, thermostatic radiators and a telephone point. Some rooms also have views of the lovely gardens. Residents are welcome to make their rooms more homely with personal items such as ornaments, pictures and small items of furniture if they wish.
Home life
Many residents enjoy being involved in day-to-day tasks, such as gentle gardening, flower arranging or even a spot of tidying up. This often helps keep routine and normality in the life of our residents, as well as participating in a variety of activities. Residents at Avon Court also delight in the home's two lovely gardens.
