Wellfield is a care home providing luxury residential care for up to thirty persons. The home has single rooms or apartments, all with en-suite facilities and some with direct access to the patio. All bathrooms are purpose-built with hoists.

We offer our services for either long or short-term accommodation, and residents can arrange to have some small items of personal furniture should they wish. Every room has TV points, and a call bell system. Private telephones can be arranged on request.

All the windows at the home are double-glazed and the home is centrally heated. During the warmer months, the extensive external gardens at the home make Wellfield a particular joy, during which time residents can sit outside in comfort and enjoy the magical surroundings.

Our nutritious menu is varied and can cater for special dietary needs as required. Visitors are welcome at any time to use the special facilities room which offers space, privacy and the chance to enjoy a quiet cup of tea.

We actively encourage activities within Wellfield, as well as the opportunity to pursue outside interests, either as individuals or as part of a group. There is every chance to take part in regular planned social occasions such as music, card games and outings, for which we provide our own transport.

Our range of facilities includes a visiting hairdresser, a chiropodist, a large print library and the services of professional staff to provide mental and physical stimulation. Visiting health professionals include doctors, dentist, opticians and community nurses.

The well kept gardens at Wellfield, feature a furnished patio area and raised flower beds, all of which is fully wheelchair accessible. flowers and plants that offer a feast for the senses are favourites with residents and guests alike.
